What Moms Google - What Dads Bring
It's
time for #whatmomsgoogle where Shaunacey and I team up to respond to real life parenting google searches.
Last week we tackled baby milestones, but infants aside, new parents have their own hurdles to leap in baby's first year. This week, Shaunacey wrote the holy grail of Mommy Milestones and I can't add even one iota of goodness to her words.

The Zipper Incident
![]() |
Today we're back with another round of Mombies Unite and Shaunacey's sharing one of her most (literally) scarring mom fails. It's one of those moments you can't read without your jaw tightening and your palms sweating because you know it could have been you. She bravely recounts her difficult experience with her daughter and shares what she learned so that when our weekly epic mom fails happen, we'll have some solid advice to refer back to.

Parenting Bravely in a Frightening World
![]() |
I don't know if worrying or being afraid compounds as we get older but I do know that fear is a side effect of birthing children. In fact, I wrote a whole post about it here before we headed off to Kenya with our 7-month-old. Today on Mombies Unite, Emily calls parenting "a constant exercise in bravery" and because her writing is exact and real and true, I'm not going to say one more word so that you can get right to hers.
