I don't have ANY claim to being a fashionista, a photographer (ha!) or a blogger (read: zero tech skills), but I love wearing cute clothes and feeling put-together, even when just hanging out with my minions.

Is there fitness after baby?

Disclaimer: I am not at all trying to compare my experience to other moms who experienced many real and difficult obstacles to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum health.

Welcome to Grumbling Grace

Joy is the best makeup (Anne Lamott)… unless you have children, in which case, concealer is the best makeup (Grumbling Grace).

Hey girl, heyyy! I'm Abbie.

Or should it be 'Hey girl, eh?' ... I'm Canadian.

Welcome to the Abbie show the Grumbling Grace Community! I'm a certified mombies of two littles, a high school French and English teacher and a wife to an extremely patient (and studly) gentleman. I write about fails, faith and mom life and I like sharing when other people write about that stuff too.

Newbie: Urban Dictionary defines a newbie as a person new to a game, concept, or forum. Not to be confused with a stupid person. Newbies are just new.

Maybe you're a rookie parent or student or pet owner or dishwasher.

We've all been there and I like newbies. They don’t always know the right way to do things, they aren’t the best at everything, but they ask interesting questions. They bring a fresh perspective and an enthusiasm that hasn’t been dampened by experience.  I think it’s why I love teaching kids in grade nine, when they first start high school and are full of fear and awkward fashion choices. Busting with bravado and raucous behavior.  Ready to try and fail and figure it out.
