Here are two things you should know about this month:

1. I quit my job, so there's that (read about it here).

2. It's supposed to be spring but IT AIN'T!

What Moms Google - What Dads Bring

It's time for #whatmomsgoogle where Shaunacey and I team up to respond to real life parenting google searches.

Last week we tackled baby milestones, but infants aside, new parents have their own hurdles to leap in baby's first year. This week, Shaunacey wrote the holy grail of Mommy Milestones and I can't add even one iota of goodness to her words.

The Zipper Incident

Today we're back with another round of Mombies Unite and Shaunacey's sharing one of her most (literally) scarring mom fails. It's one of those moments you can't read without your jaw tightening and your palms sweating because you know it could have been you. She bravely recounts her difficult experience with her daughter and shares what she learned so that when our weekly epic mom fails happen, we'll have some solid advice to refer back to.

Picture Perfect. An Adventure in Family Photos

Today on Mombies Unite, Erin is sharing her attempts to get that perfect family photo. Like her, I've discovered that kids have "momdar," radar that goes off when something is a big deal and puts the kibosh on perfection. Say CHEESE!

Parenting Bravely in a Frightening World

I don't know if worrying or being afraid compounds as we get older but I do know that fear is a side effect of birthing children. In fact, I wrote a whole post about it here before we headed off to Kenya with our 7-month-old. Today on Mombies Unite, Emily calls parenting "a constant exercise in bravery" and because her writing is exact and real and true, I'm not going to say one more word so that you can get right to hers.

If you're reading Mombies Unite, there's a fair chance that you may already self-identify as a mombie, but are you REALLY sure what that entails? Thankfully, today's post from Andrea at For the Love of Honey lays it out for us. Here are ten hilarious (and true) signs you may be a mombie. I'm hoping Andrea will publish a Mombie Handbook soon, but I can live with these helpful guidelines until then.

When I Say You're Beautiful - What I Want My Daughters to Know

I've had so much fun lately talking about clothes and accessories, trends and patterns both on Fashion Fridays and on the Wednesday link-up with The Blended Blog. I think style IS fun. I feel that we humans (and especially we women) are made to express something in all we do, say, and put forward. And it's fun. And it's silly. And we can laugh while we do it.

Do you ever feel like you're unseen? I don't just mean by grandparents on Facetime (Show me the children!). I mean in your day-to-day life.
