Dreaming of a White Christmas

I know you've all heard NO WHITE AFTER LABOUR DAY, but I'm here to say...

Live it up.

Why else do we have Tide-to-Go pens?

Today Emma's styling a winter-white shift dress.

Elegant. Simple. Classic.
And definitely Christmas-ey.

A chunky gold collar necklace (Ardene's), black tights, and black suede boots (Le Chateau) complete this timeless look.

I am drooling over this LULUS dress. So flattering and it comes in burgundy and black (for those of us trailing rugrats). It's affordable for an upscale look. (Emma's wearing an x-small)

Emma has an eye for looser flattering cuts. Keep it simple and elegant this holiday with a low hassle, roomy for desserts comfortable outfit that smacks of class.

Gabrielle is styling Walmart today. You know, smacking of class.

If you're a bustier lady (you lucky duck), you can absolutely still get away with the shift dress without feeling like you're wearing a mumu. Just go for a different neckline and don't size up.

It needs to fit you across the shoulders and because shift dresses are looser to start with, stay in your size. Feel like your dress is fairly short? Up the tights to leggings and carry on.

I really like this one and I could breastfeed in that. CHECK!

So party on and have yourself that white Christmas... even if the snow is melting outside.

You're right. This is excessive. These two though...

    1. Me too. Love texture. It's faux so it's super light as well. I need to find me a similar one.

  2. great outfit!! I rarely wear white because, you know, kids and stuff. EVERY time I think white is a good idea, I'm quickly reminded by a child (or two) that I was wrong.

    1. Um ditto!! I am hankering after this dress in the burgundy for that very reason. C'mon Santa...
