Looking forward to Holiday Style - Comfy Cozy Christmas

Do you see what I see?
Why am I excited for the holidays, you ask?

Food. Friends. Family. All the f-words.

All photos in this post are by the incredible Lovely Roots Photography

Maybe not for snow, but pretty pumped about everything else.
And to enjoy all of the above, I have to be comfy. I'm linking up with The Blended Blog to talk about all things holiday style and cozy casual is my pick!

Here's the outfit formula to bring comfortable and cozy to merry and bright this holiday season

Instead of scouring the shops for Christmasy attire, spend your pennies on a few thoughtful gifts for loved ones and get creative with your closet. I bet you can make your wardrobe pop.

I've included all the details of my look at the end of the post!

I love this simple outfit for an afternoon spent downtown shopping...

Or picking up some Persephone Theatre tickets?

Or sipping candy cane lattés with a friend...
Deena and I recommend the flat white from Good Earth Coffee in Saskatoon

or a casual snowy stroll with your holiday love.

Dress this combo up or down with your choice of top, scarf and boots. Make it as cozy or as classy as the situation in which you find yourself!

Most importantly, no matter where you go this season, I wish you the best beauty accessory available: JOY.

To you and to yours.

Love, me and mine. xoxo

My joy was captured by the amazing Larissa of Lovely Roots Photography. I highly recommend her for your next photo project: family, personal or otherwise.

Outfit details:

Toque: Handcrafted by my fave - ShepStitched
Mittens: Clothing Obsession in Warman (best deals on winter outerwear)
Coat: Kate Spade (previous season - also has detachable fur collar)
Scarf: $4 at Dots! I think it channels the Hudson Bay feel.
Tee: Aritzia
Jeggings: Spanx
Boots: Rag + Bone (previous season)
